A Message from Holly
Why did I become a Real Estate agent? My husband served in the United States Air Force and we became well versed in the art of moving.
Sometimes, we only had a weekend to find a home and other times around 6 months. Moving required many hours of getting our current home ready to sell, boxing up our things, staging our home, and selecting our future home. Moving was time consuming and it was very important that we protected our financial investment correctly. Usually our moves were following up a deployment, hubby working long hours, no immediate family around to help and all with kids and dogs in tow.
I empathize with you in the craziness of moving because we did it often. We are now separated from the United States Air Force. I feel my experience as a buyer and seller helps me be a valuable team player as your Realtor.
I feel there are four stipulations that make the best Realtor-Client relationship:
Accessibility- Realtors can be very busy like at the attorney’s office in a closing, or in a listing (also known as selling) appointment or even showing homes; but a Realtor should answer right away or return the call within a few hours. It’s crucial the Realtor and client be accessible when calls are made, or emails / texts are sent. It is always an important goal of mine to respond quickly. All of my clients are important!
Communication can make or break a deal. I like to keep my clients one step ahead of the game so they know the next step in the home buying or selling process. Often the difference in a great home buying or selling experience is to know all the little extras that make an incredible first impression. Remember you only have one time to make a first impression , so make it pleasing to all your senses.
Quality Photos- Photos should have the best lighting and should be staged correctly. Remember we don’t just buy and sell a home, We are buying into a lifestyle!
Social Media Marketing- You know you have the right realtor when they market your home in a variety of formats. For example the standard way to list a home is online with a Realtor service called Multiple Listing Service or MLS. A great Realtor can offer options to sell your home like open houses, print ads, hit social media and produce video footage of your home. Everyone loves to take a virtual home tour right?
